Their story
The American Honey Bee Rescue Alliance was started in 2009 as a group of people who, got involve, to help due to the declining population of Honey Bees in North America. Through educational efforts and rescue operations, the alliance has grown by reaching out to local beekeepers and bee keeping clubs.
What They DO
Conduct training where needed
Conducts educational events for school children
Helps re-home bees that swarm
Advocates against the destruction of unwanted colonies
Assists private (backyard) beekeepers with colony management
Build and supply top bar hives to raise funds at Florida Top Bar Hives
